Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Position Summary:
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager position is responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Manager during all events at the theatre while delivering the highest caliber of customer service to guests.

Bar Back

Position Summary:
The Bar Back position is responsible for assisting bartenders with the setup and breakdown of bar locations. The Bar Back will also assist bartenders by running product to bar locations during all events within the Theatre.

Position summary:
The custodian position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall aesthetic appearance of the Theatre and the surrounding facility grounds, while also delivering exceptional guest services to all Theatre guests.
Major areas of responsibilities:
- Sanitize, clean, and stock restrooms prior, during, and after events, including Front of House and Back of House areas
- Maintain cleanliness of office spaces
- Collect and take out trash and recycling
- Clean wood, linoleum, tile and other flooring
- Shampoo and vacuum rugs and carpets
- Dust and sterilize all surfaces, including door handles, banisters, railings, and seating
- Wash exterior and interior windows and sidewalks and Theatre walls
- Handle clean-up of any spills or accidents during an event
- Use special custodial equipment: commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
- Set up and break down tables and chairs for special events
- Distribute program boxes to all levels of the Theatre

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This unique camp brings together young people between the ages of 7 and 14 who have experienced the death of a parent to discover the healing power of creative play. Through the exploration and creation of theatre, music, dance, and visual arts, Hearts to Art encourages communication and collaboration, fosters emotional growth, and provides friendship, compassion, and community. AVAILABLE POSITIONS
Camp Coordinator (2 positions available) Hearts to Art is looking for Camp Coordinators for the 22nd Summer of camp! This position will go from June to mid-August and be one of two positions responsible for the administrative elements of camp. Their job will include but not be limited to, organizing campers paperwork, communicating with caregivers, supporting Junior Counselors, coordinating transportation, organizing supplies, and working closely with the Creative Engagement Team to assure that all the logistical needs of camp are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organization and administration, be a self-starter and independent worker while also good at collaborating and working with a team, and have some previous experience or knowledge of working with children and families.
• The position starts part time in June and becomes full time (40/h a week) in July
• June 20th mandatory staff training for approximately 5 hours.
• Camp Session 1 (ages 7-10) July 13-24, 2026, Monday through Friday
Camp Session 2 (ages 11-14) July 27-August 7, 2026, Monday through Friday
• One Camp Coordinator works 7:30-4pm and the other 9:30-6:00pm.
• August 10-14, 2026 approximately 20 hours of work wrapping up camp
• Camp will be held at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Edgewater. All other noted dates will be at the Auditorium Theatre.
• Pay is $20/h
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Attending, participating in, and implementing all Hearts to Art Training.
• Accurately storing and organizing camp applications and the confidential information held within.
• Creating and providing daily administrative support to maintain the smooth execution of camp.
• Coordinating and managing camp volunteers.
• Maintaining professional and clear communication with camp families and caregivers.
• Working courteously and collaboratively with other staff members and guest artists.
• Being supportive, present, and attentive in all applicable camp interactions.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all campers at all times.
• As needed, supervising post or pre-care for campers.
• Learning and accurately using CampDoc (camp database)
• Supervising during lunch and outdoor time as needed.
• Working closely with the Camp Leadership Team to fulfill the administrative needs of Hearts to Art.

Clinical Director Job Posting
The Clinical Director is a licensed practitioner (LCSW, LCPC) who oversees the confidential and clinical elements of camp. They run the clinical team, organize small healing group sessions and family healing sessions, and work with all staff (clinical and non-clinical) to make sure the team is safe, supported, and informed. They also supervise the clinical interns and oversee all of the necessary duties that allow HTA Camp to have clinical placements at Hearts to Art. This is a contract position that is full time during the camp sessions including preparation and post camp weeks.
Projected employment dates from May 11, 2026-August 14, 2026.
Compensation
$7,000 total fee
Above fee paid in three increments
The Auditorium Theatre is not able to pay any additional amount on top of this stipend for
transportation time or mileage (rental car, CTA fees or travel reimbursement)
The Auditorium Theatre will reimburse for program materials, upon approval from the Camp
Leadership Team
SCOPE OF WORK
This position is the clinical expertise of camp leadership, pre-camp (May-June), during
camp (July-August) and follow up (August) time periods.
Attends and assists in all necessary camp training sessions.
Works to find resources for families as needed and/or connect families to services as
appropriate.
Communicates regularly with clinical interns and Hearts to Art Leadership Team
regarding any notable camper cases and action plans that are needed prior to the start
of the program.
Implements new clinical and trauma informed camp procedures as necessary.
Is onsite throughout the duration of camp.
o Session I – July 13-July 24
o Session II – July 27 – August 7
Creates and implements de-escalation protocol during camp.
Meets with caregivers when necessary.
Potentially leads staff training and 3 camp staff connects sessions per camp session.
Responsible for mandated reporter protocol including escalation of off-site services
related to the clinical needs of any camper, up to and including calling mental health
emergency services, DCFS, 911 and others.
Supervises and guides clinical team on a daily basis.
Leads one-on-one care for campers with assistance from clinical interns.
Works as a team with the Director of Creative Engagement and Manager of Education
and the Creative Engagement to assure integration of clinical program into the daily fine
arts curriculum.
Maintains constant communication with Hearts to Art Leadership Team about clinical
situations and any adjustments that need to be made.
Assesses success of clinical program overall and provides real-time feedback to address
concerns.
Helps wrap up and document camp at the end of the season including necessary The
Auditorium team meetings and debriefs
Other duties as needed
PROGRAM DATES
It is required that the Clinical Director is onsite for the following dates and activities. Other
completion of responsibilities may happen remotely or at the mutual agreement of the
Contractor and Company.
Camp Training days – June 20th; held at The Auditorium
Junior Counselor Training – June 23rd – June 25th; held at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox
Church in Edgewater.
Session 1 – July 13th – July 24th and Session 2 – July 27th – August 7th; held at St,

Camp Description
This unique performing arts camp brings together young people between the ages of 7 and 14 who have experienced the death of a parent to discover the healing power of creative play. Through interaction with young people who have experienced a similar loss, campers understand they are not alone. Small group healing sessions are facilitated by professional healing counselors, providing campers a safe time and place to express and share their feelings with peers. There are also licensed healingcounselors on site throughout the duration of camp.
Teaching Artists Job Description
Teaching Artists (TA’s) in Theatre, Music, Dance, and Visual Arts are practicing artists and educators in their respective disciplines who are committed to working with young people. If there are any questions about what is being taught artistically or why it is being taught, they are the go-to people! Each Teaching Artist is partnered with a Group Leader and a Junior Counselor. The three work together to bring an exciting and educational experience to their assigned group of campers.
2026 Camp Dates:
Session 1 (Grades 2-5): July 13 – July 24
Session 2 (Grades 6-9): July 27 – August 7
Teaching Artist are present at camp 8am-4:30pm.
Pay rate $25 per hour.

Teaching Artist duties include but are not limited to:
Develop and execute active lesson plans for classes, electives, mindfulness activities, and
