Position Summary The Ticket Services Associate plays an essential part in delivering excellent customer service to patrons and assisting with promoting the theatre and its performances. S/he/They establishes quality relationships with theatre patrons by processing individual, subscription, and group ticket orders (including student matinees). They also build and maintain relationships with groups to generate revenue, and support other marketing efforts as needed. Evenings and weekends, which vary in frequency required.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
-Answers inbound calls to the Ticket Services Center – services include processing individual tickets, group tickets, subscriptions, ticket exchanges, and answering general customer service inquiries. Staffs the season table at presented performances as necessary. Coordinates Tessitura patron/account hygiene and updates, and is the daily point person monitoring website ticket path.
-In partnership with the marketing department, supports group sales efforts by researching and building relationships with new group prospects, and maintaining relationships with current groups.
-Support marketing department as assigned – examples include managing collateral in the theatre, and grassroots marketing.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities is the most important qualification of this position.–
-Experience with Tessitura
-Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service
-Demonstrated understanding of best customer service practices

– Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
-Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor in a in a fast-paced environment

-Appreciation of performing arts.
Salary Range/Benefits $35K-$49K
