Part-Time Ticket Services Associate

The Ticket Services Assistant reports to the Ticket Services Manager and establishes quality relationships with theatre patrons by processing individual, subscription, and group ticket orders. They also assist with promoting the performances and converting individual ticket buyers into subscribers and/or group patrons.

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, a 129-year-old National Historic Landmark located at 50 E Ida B Wells Dr, is committed to presenting the finest in international, cultural, community, and educational programming to Chicago with performances by companies such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Alan Menken, and the National Geographic Live Series.

Skills Required:
  • At least 1 year of sales/customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service skills required; must have a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to assist with promoting performances which includes making outbound phone calls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • High school education required
  • Analytical skills to identify opportunities to further develop a patron’s relationship with the theatre’s mission
  • Must be available on most weekends and evenings
