This Halloween the Auditorium Theatre launches its “Made in Chicago” Movie Series, a series of free screenings of movies set or made in Chicago.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their most “Razzle Dazzle” Jazz-era garb and sing-along to the show-stopping tunes of “Chicago,” the stage musical turned Academy Award Winning Movie Musical.
At 6PM doors open to the lobby for period inspired cocktails (cash bar), cabaret artist Kimberly Lawson singing the songs of Kander and Ebb, and your chance to show your stuff and register your best 1920s garb or “Chicago” themed costumes. “Best” costumes will win free tickets to world-class performances in Auditorium Theatre’s 125th Anniversary season.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
- Best Dressed
- Most Creative
- Best Group Costumes
The musical fun will commence at 7PM. Guests are invited to sing-a-long to the show stopping tunes and the Auditorium’s own Merry Murderess Dancers, bringing the movie out of the screen and into the aisles!
