The Creative Engagement Fellowship Program
The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University has offered a variety of diverse arts opportunities for students and teachers for years and we welcome partnerships continued expansion our relationships with teachers and students. To help support teachers in developing and facilitating creative learning in the classroom, we created the Creative Engagement Fellowship Program in conjunction with our hosting of the Lincoln Center Institute National Educator Workshop in June of 2010.
About the Introductory Level Creative Engagement Fellowship Program
The Auditorium has awarded 4 teams of teachers with scholarships to attend Chicago’s LCI-NEW in June of 2010. We will continue to work with the same teaching teams throughout the 2010-2011 school year. This fellowship will allow an extension of practice in aesthetic education methods and bolster continued support and learning after the summer workshop concludes. The Auditorium Theatre’s Department of Creative Engagement knows how important it is to act as an ongoing resource, support, and partner throughout the school year.
