As part of our milestone 125th Anniversary Season, the Auditorium Theatre collected 150 community submissions for a devised theatrical piece called the Brave Face Project. This brand new endeavor intends to explore and create a dialogue regarding the shame, insecurity, and fear women feel from the pressure of societal expectations regarding what it means “to be a woman.” The project aims to examine the roots of these feelings and why the expectations of women are so often unattainable and unrealistic. Join us for this powerful weekend of theatre in the Auditorium’s intimate studio space.
Brave Face Project contains material suitable for a mature audience.
Please note: all performances takes place in the Katten/Landau Studio, 425 S Wabash Ave, 4th floor.
