The Auditorium Theatre presents sixty minute interdisciplinary workshops exploring the power of storytelling at community centers throughout the city of Chicago. Connecting to performances being presented on the Auditorium stage, teaching artists lead young people in the analysis and interpretation of a story, discussing the relevance of the piece and how it applies to “real life” as well as recognizing the symbolism, character development, and thematic content of the story. Using this information, the group creates and performs an original work of art, reimagining the story they’ve explored!

All workshops take place at Chicago Park District Locations.
